Question: When the book was first released, what kind of backlash did you face?

Answer:
The biggest has been more from people who deny these issues exist or think I'm writing from a particular agenda, but overall because I include multiple perspectives and keep much of my story true to real-life cases. I haven't received too much backlash.

I am currently on the growing lists of controversial book bans, but haven't received much more public awareness. Mostly, my book is similar to other books that are much more visible. Overall, those would be the types of things that I'd face backlash on.
